Mono & Co-Layer Extrusion

Futurex has both monolayer extrusion and co-extrusion capabilities. Monolayer extrusion is the process of extruding a single layer of plastic sheet and may be suitable for most applications.

Co-extrusion is desired when certain characteristics cannot be obtained through monolayer extrusion. For example, combining a weatherable cap to ABS sheet is ideal for outdoor applications requiring outstanding resistance to UV degradation.
